Academic Results

Students are subject to the same examination schemes as any child in Britain, allowing us to clearly benchmark our school against other children there and among other independent and international schools.

Since our inception students at all of our schools have performed extremely well, with the vast majority of pupils performing well above the expected requirements of the English National Curriculum.

GL Assessments (replacing the SATs Tests) are given at the end of the academic year to all students starting from Year 2.  They are used to show children's progress compared with other children in the same age range.  These standardised tests aim to measure the performance of all pupils following the English National Curriculum and show the level of attainment in reading, writing and mathematics.

In Secondary School, pupils work towards the IGCSE's and A Level examinations. Students in Years 10 and 11 take IGCSEs, a two-year programme that is academically rigorous and recognised to be amongst the best in the world for this age group. Many of the subjects have specific international elements and content, developed by specialists to make the subject matter relevant to students worldwide.

In Sixth Form, students will work towards obtaining AS and A Level qualifications. A Level is one of the world’s most widespread and highly regarded university entrance qualifications. It is recognised by universities around the world including all universities in the UK and USA.
